Upcoming Events

As the holidays near, my mind explodes at the sight of all the events that pop up with things to do, see, listen to, experience. Well, you get the picture. It's an absolute sensory overload and I love every second. There is always something to do around our fabulous city, but the winter season just adds even more in to the mix. Regardless of the season, I absolutely love Central Florida. I've been obsessed with all there is to see and do in the area and truly the entire state of Florida for about ten years now. I'm passionate about it. I spend a lot of my free time researching upcoming events. I have so much event knowledge depending on my schedule, (at minimum on a monthly basis and at most on a weekly basis) that I finally decided to do something about it. I figured the most affordable way to start doing that would be to start an Events Blog. So here we are, my first! By the way, last weekend was the Food Truck Bazaar at Fashion Square and the last days of the Renaissance Faire at Lady Lake. I hope some of you made it out! Here's just some of the upcoming events I'm on the edge of my seat about-there's so much more going on but these are a select few that are worth sharing!

Saturday November 22nd 3pm to 6pm
"The Wine Barn in Winter Park is having their biggest and best holiday show ever! Tickets are $25 online now or $40 at the door. Winter Park Community Center 721 W. New England Ave Taste Over 150 Wines!  Our Top Scoring Favorites and Hard to Find Gems  One Day Special Pricing  (Online Orders Qualify Too!) Buy Your Tickets Today: thewinebarn.net/node/19157 Don't Miss This BIG Party!"

Rosen Shingle Creek has so much going on in December I can't keep up, especially their Winter Wonderland the first three weekends in December.  http://www.rosenshinglecreek.com/holidays/

Gaylord Palms is my go to every Christmas. I watch Luminescence and my holiday season is complete. The shows are free. There is an insane parking fee of $15-$20, but normally if you can show a receipt of money you spent inside the hotel of $15-$20 to the parking attendant (verify with the hotel before going) your parking fee is void. This is usually pretty easy to do. There's restaurants and shopping to include an ice cream shop and a chocolate shop. Of course there's also "ICE" but I've done it once and it's too expensive for my annual taste.

"The Holiday Lights Bike Tour returns to Audubon Park. Bikes, Beans and Bordeaux's annual Holiday Lights Bicycle Tour. Don't miss this fun, free event. Riders meet at B3 at 7pm for check in. When everyone's check in the tour begins and runs along quiet neighborhood streets in Audubon Park and Colonialtown North. There will be awesome light displays along the way and a couple of Christmas carol stops. Then it's back to B3 for hot chocolate and a visit from Santa. Please be sure to bring an unwrapped gift for kids who are part of Parramore Kidz Zone and share the holiday happiness." http://bikesbeansandbordeaux.com/
